This site provides continuing educational credits for physicians (MDs), advanced registered nurse practitioners (ARNPs), and physician assistants (PAs). The CME activity for this site is provided by the University of Alabama (UAB) School of Medicine, Division of Continuing Medical Education.
- The University of Alabama School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
- The University of Alabama School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)TM for each case in the Case-Based Module section and 0.5-1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)TM for the Interactive Tutorials. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The completion of each case in the Case-Based Module section should require approximately one-half hour. Proceed to answer the CME questions after you have completed the case and after you have read the discussion for the case.
To receive credit, you will be required to answer at least 60% of the questions correctly. Records of all of your CME activity can be viewed on the UAB CME site page under the header labeled CME Tracker & CME Certificates. You are welcome to take the self-assessment tests even if you do not need continuing educational credits, but you will first need to sign in at the CME site
